The Winton GalleryScience Museum, London, 8th December onwards
The stunning new gallery, dedicated to mathematics, is funded by the single largest individual donation in the Science Museum’s history. Designed by the late Zaha Hadid to resemble a wind tunnel, the £5m permanent exhibition, an architectural destination in itself, will show artefacts and exhibits from the Renaissance onwards.
Oxford Mathematics Christmas Public LectureMathematics Institute, University of Oxford, Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, 15th December, 5pm
