A former advisor to Barack Obama, Katz published The Metropolitan Revolution with Jennifer Bradley in 2014, in which they outlined the importance of a network of global trading cities. Currently a vice president of the Brookings Institution, he focuses on the health and prosperity of cities and metropolitan areas.
