He has written widely on British, American and comparative politics and is the author of American Politics and Society, 9th Edition, Wiley 2017, Federalism and European Union: Understanding the European Federal Bargain and Designing Europe: Lessons from Comparative Experience both Oxford University Press, 1999 and 2001.
