Robert Skidelsky is a member of the British House of Lords, emeritus professor of political economy and Warwich university, and the author of a prize-winning three-volume biography of John Maynard Keynes. He was a non-executive director of the American company Janus from 2003 to 2011 and the Russian oil company Russneft from 2016 to 2021
